		Fashion for Compassion April 15, 2011 ACS and Saks Fifth Avenue partner for this annual spring fashion show and fund-raiser. This chic spring style show will feature prominent Austinites on the runway, great music, delicious food, distinctive live auction items and fabulous shopping. Tickets are $100 and $150. 		Light of Hope Saturday, April 9^th 11 am to 3 pm Join us at Austin Children's Shelter as a group of state and local non-profit organizations commemorate April as Child Abuse Prevention Month. Families and community members are invited to attend the free event which includes music, free refreshments, children’s activities and helpful information for families. Download the flier here.

		Fore the Children Golf Tournament Thursday, September 29 Mark your calendar for the Shelter’s annual golf tournament. This year’s event will be at Grey Rock Golf Club. Watch our website in the coming weeks for details.
